SG-Stock : Commercial Management Application

Context

Omega Consulting Service SARL needed a complete commercial management solution capable of handling multiple companies (multi-tenant) with data isolation, while covering the essential needs of SMEs: stock, billing, clients, suppliers and financial tracking.

Solution

Complete web application allowing to:

• Manage products, categories and services
• Track stock entries and exits in real time
• Create and follow invoices
• Administer clients and suppliers
• Monitor finance and generate analysis / dashboards

Role & responsibilities

As a backend developer, I designed and implemented:

• The multi-tenant architecture with django-multitenant (data isolation per company)
• The models and business logic (products, stock, billing, clients, suppliers, finance)
• The REST APIs consumed by the Vue.js frontend
• The business rules, validations and automatic calculations (stock, margins, analysis)

Technical choices

• Backend: Django + PostgreSQL for robustness and performance
• Multi-tenant: django-multitenant for strict data isolation between clients
• Frontend: Vue.js (developed by another team)
• API-oriented architecture for a clear front/back separation
